Time Which is Stolen By Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter

time

“Time and tide wait for no man”

How many of like using Facebook ,WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram?

Give me the answer to the above question after reading the post.

I recently hosted my blog on WordPress.I am very excited about it.Initially I was only able to work on my website from office or home , but now it’s not the case anymore.

I was eating eggs after my workout and while eating I was also customizing my blog post on my mobile. This is when i thought of posting on my blog.

Can you guess where I am right now?

I am sitting in a shared auto with the driver and posting this article.

My point is technology has evolved so much that its occupying each and every ounce of time that we have left for personal growth.Social networking sites is destroying the time and future of so many youngsters including me.We waste hours and hours of our time not even realizing the value of time.It is not until it’s too late that we realize that we should have used our time more efficiently.

Nowadays we are so much involved in social networking that we behave in two different ways with the same person. You like someone and you start chatting with them. You express everything during chatting but when you meet the person face to face, you are not able to do that. This is because these social networking sites have trained you to express emotions through a 4 inch screen rather than directly to the person face.

Research has proved that humans are more comfortable sharing their emotions through texting.

Also, the posts that appear in our newsfeed in Facebook or Instagram has the power to change our mood. You see a post on the Facebook which says something about the ideal life partner. You read it and you start comparing these qualities with your partner. If you find even a small point that your partner does’nt do then you start to blame him for that. The other person has no idea about what just happened that made you angry.

Yeah and one more thing that i have observed is that most of us today prefer to communicate something to the other person using status update rather than telling it to them. You are angry, you change your status.

Now imagine you have 300 friends in your contact list and you are angry on one of them for some reason. You change your status to something that would hurt that one person very much. Here, what you are not realizing is that you are also hurting some number of people in that 299 contact list. This is mentally straining for someone who really cares a lot about you.

Truly speaking our life was much better before social networking apps took over us.

I am not telling anyone to stop using these social networking sites but limit it’s use. Believe me it is not an easy task to deactivate our facebook or uninstall whatsapp ( I have tried many times but failed in doing so).The account use to remain deactivated only for a couple of days.

Let me put some quote and video to motivate them to read the remaining part of my post.

“Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life”

Use the saved time to work on your dreams. You may hate me for saying all this but its just something i realized a couple of weeks back.

Also express your emotions face to face rather than on the 4 inch screen 🙂

I am trying my level best to follow what I just preached.

Share your views and your answer to my question in the comment section.
